As a NSW transport operator, Deane's Transit Group is able to provide free school bus passes to students of Queanbeyan/Canberra/Yass schools as part of the School Student Transport Scheme as long as they meet all of the eligibility criteria.

You may pick up an SSTS Application Form from your child's school or download it by clicking on the image on the right.
Simply fill in all of the required fields and have your details verified by the school who will usually forward it to us for processing. Once your child receives their new pass from their school office, they will be able to travel for free on our buses.
Before signing the certification at section 6, please make sure you have read through the code of conduct and conditions of travel.

If your child has lost their pass, you may purchase a new one for $11 with one of our staff at our office or over the phone or download a replacement form here and post it to us with a cheque.
If you require a term pass for your child, you can purchase one over the phone or at our depot.
If you are a returning Deane's bus pass holder, you may notice that the passes have changed in appearance for 2012. These changes were made to make our drivers' jobs easier and to make travelling on our buses a whole lot simpler for our students. Our new and improved bus passes now show the exact bus stop that your child is advised to board at and what buses they will need to catch throughout the day.
This number format will appear differently for students with direct buses, i.e. they do not need to travel through an interchange or for those who live in an area that is not serviced through to their nearest bus stop. Please refer to our FAQ page for a more detailed explanation on how to read these numbers.
